Prague being voted in favour of Renewable Energy Directive on 6 April thereby agreeing to a legally binding 13% renewable energy target for 2020. Preparing an updated energy strategy for Wind power in the Czech Republic 2020 by installing 1,500 MW wind power capacity to make significant contribution towards the 13% RES target. Contributing to the increase in renewable energies from 6.1% (2005) to 13% (2020).

Furthermore, Prague claims to be one of the cultural centres of Europe, displaying a permanent showcase for outstanding performing artists and symphony orchestras at the city’s classical venues.
